Children’s Books
Stories and illustrations that spark imagination and wonder
About My Work
Creating children's books allows me to combine storytelling, illustration, and design in their most joyful form. Each book is a world unto itself—a place where imagination runs wild, characters come alive, and every page turn brings new discoveries.
My illustrations are crafted with warmth, humor, and attention to the small details that delight young readers. Whether working in watercolor, digital media, or mixed techniques, I focus on creating characters and scenes that feel both magical and relatable.
"Every illustration is an invitation for children to see themselves in the story and believe in the impossible."
Featured Books
Suzie the Stepmother
A heartwarming story about family, acceptance, and discovering that stepmothers aren't scary at all—they're just people who love you in their own special way. Through charming watercolor illustrations and gentle storytelling, this book helps children navigate the emotions of blended families.
The Ferret Family Fair
Join the adventurous Ferret Family at their annual county fair. A playful celebration of family fun, featuring vibrant illustrations filled with colorful details and joyful moments that children will pour over again and again. Inspired by Tasha Tudor and Richard Scary.
My Creative Process
Story Development
Every book begins with the story—understanding the characters, their journey, and the emotional arc that will resonate with young readers. I work closely with authors (or develop the narrative myself) to ensure the text and illustrations work in perfect harmony.
Character Design
Characters are the heart of any children's book. I sketch dozens of variations, exploring different personalities, expressions, and visual styles until the characters feel just right—instantly recognizable, endearing, and full of life.
